It is easy to be self-critical. There will always be reasons to doubt our own capabilities and capacities, to overlook God’s graces, and to ignore the beauty that is in every day. Life possesses no certainty. There are reasons to be fearful and anxious, yes, but there are more reasons for us to be grateful and joyous.

Courage comes with faith in the Lord. •
