We fear rejection. We always long for someone who would completely appreciate and understand us — flaws and all.
One night, I randomly played a song from my playlist.
I kept repeating the song until this thought came to my mind: There is no need. To fear. To hide. Or to search.
While we busy ourselves trying to please people, hide our imperfections, and find a sense of acceptance, the One has always, always been there — just waiting for us to turn around and see for ourselves.
The Lord loves us. The Lord is in love with us — in spite of us. Nothing could be greater than this Truth. •
