Backtrack // Yish’s debut

It was the 23rd of March. I was with my high school best friend the night before. The celebration would be in Valenzuela and I would be coming all the way from Laguna. I was undecided.

But I chose to go.

With my friends Nathan and Marinette, I had to endure the scorching afternoon heat and the troublesome public transportation — all while wearing my black stilettos. The time and effort required of me was too much, but for a friend, for Yish particularly, I count no cost. •
