Dear Joo,
I can still vividly recall how I’d lose my patience in teaching you the letter “a” back when you were in kindergarten because you always mistook it for the number “9”, and how you would violently hit me with your “mabahong unan” which I purposely and purposefully hid under our bed in our younger years.
Now that little girl I used to bully for a glass of water has metamorphosed into a decent lady who would cook if I don’t feel like cooking at home (and I almost always do). Happy, happy birthday!
There’s not really much to say here because I have always been an open book to you. But, yeah, well, thanks. For trusting me enough to let me know about your dramas and secrets and blog URLs. For tolerating my insanity and mood swings once in a while. For introducing me to your closest friends and allowing me to harass them over the phone or via Facebook for food. (Hiiiii, Patch! Ehem, Ner!)
More years will surely pass us by, and soon enough we would no longer have time and interest to share Friends- and HIMYM-related life realizations, or even fangirl about Sleeping With Sirens (and that guy you crush on who looks weird to me) and Demi Lovato. So I just want to let you and the public know how blessed I am to be your sister and friend and to have you as family.
I love you! May your dreams come true (‘cause you will have to design my house gratis ten years from now!).
Virtual hugs and kisses (because we don’t really do that in real life, eew),
