Disaster in delight
A broken heart to heal, far-fetched dreams to defend, and dysfunctional relationships to escape from — all these brought four ladies and a gentleman to Parañaque City on a lazy Saturday night for their dose of entertainment that was Ginuman Fest 2013.
Excited to jam with known showbiz personalities and eager to catch up with one another, Pierre, Abby, Krizma, Ilona, and I were all smiles by the start of the concert.

Little did we know, taking it from the words of Pierre, that “the only thing we [would enjoy] that night was taking photos.”

The night ended with scarred friendships to remedy, a lost treasure to recover, and, still, a broken heart to heal — all leading four girls and a gentleman to their respective homes on a rainy Saturday evening for their only respite that was sleep. •
