I had to facilitate the storytelling seminar-workshop “Wansapanataym: Engaging the Young Aeta Reader” intended for second year and third year Mass Communication students. We invited Kuya Jerald and Kuya Ethel from Alitaptap Storytellers Philippines for the activity.
I admit I was worried at the start of the day for only half the expected number of attendees were present. In the afternoon, it was almost raining and we could not dismiss the participants yet because we were waiting for the afternoon snacks.
But then, God is awesome and we all ended up having a wonderful memorable day.
PS: After the activity, I had awesome conversations with Kuya Jerald and Kuya Ethel. I also chatted with Kuya Julius from the ICT Department to keep him company while he waited for his sister.
I do not know why — and I do not care to know why — but I feel great. •
