“I am so happy.”

Reality has been very harsh to me. Really.

I still find it hard to accept everything that I know I cannot change. This, coming from someone who has always been an advocate of positive change slash transformation.

Do you know how it feels? When you badly want something and you know you can do it, but external forces seem to hinder you from achieving your goal. Well, that’s not exactly how I feel. But it’s almost similar to what I feel right now.

I think I’m being crazy. I’ve been overthinking, maybe. Or my brain is being disrupted by all the negative vibrations surrounding me in Manila. Or maybe it’s because I talk less. And regarding the last one, I really want to talk to some people I know I can trust.

See, I easily trust people. That does not make my life an open book. But, yeah, sort of. And now, I do not know whom to trust. I even find it hard to confide to my college friends for fear of being backstabbed and betrayed and double-crossed... again. I wish to express all my resentment to my high school friends, whom I genuinely trust, but they all seem very busy with their lives. Yeah, loser much.

If the me right now is the same me back then, by this time, tears should have already rolled down my cheeks. But life has made me stronger — in a sense. No sign of tears, friends. No sign of tears. I am not even teary-eyed.

Oh, well, it’s hard to love when there’s so much to hate.
