The girl
I keep too many journals — in forms of both actual notebooks and mobile apps. I tend to write quick thoughts on my phone or on random sheets of paper, which I rarely safekeep.
A whiteboard hangs on my wall, upon which I keep a list of my pending work and personal tasks. I rarely update that list.
Next to it is a desk calendar I taped on the wall. It was supposed to give me an insight into my scheduled activities for the month. In practice, however, it’s where I clip movie tickets and receipts and everything else which I could not simply dispose.
My notes, whether in print or online, are tangible manifestations of my messy mind, and there is no way I can keep track of each and all of them.
Tidbits of ideas crop up out of the blue though, and whenever I do some spring cleaning, I am reminded of the very moment when I birthed the thought and this gives me joy. Many times, I would surprise myself with articles I forgot I have written.
What follows is one such journal entry, dated October 26 this year.
A lot has happened since the day I wrote these words. Someday soon, hopefully, I would find time to pen them all down. This shall be my final goal, at least before 2015 ends and before I start chasing new dreams and celebrating new adventures in the coming year. •

When I was in Bolinao, Pangasinan, I had this awesome idea for my pre-nuptial photos: They will be themed four elements (water, earth, fire, and air) — whereas photos themed water shall be shot in a beach; earth in farmlands; fire, volcano; and air, the sea of clouds in Mount Pulag.
I was admiring the beauty of Ilocos Sur last month with Zandra and Father Mike, and I just had to tell them how badly I want a dancing fountain (!!!) on my wedding. So, dapat doon ako ikasal. :P
Just recently, I was in Palawan, rated by the international travel magazine Conde Nast as the best island in the world, and I thought I will have to be back... and my honeymoon has to happen there.
E, wala pa ngang boyfriend. HAHA. But a girl can dream, right?
