The brave soul
“It takes a brave soul to embrace one’s uniqueness.”
I am unique because of my pain. I know that every time I was backstabbed, judged, pushed around, rejected, unappreciated, and hurt, I grow to be a better, stronger person. And I know God will not allow me to suffer if He is not trying to bring out the best in me.
I am unique because of my past. I failed countless of times. I have experienced a lot in my life — may it be sadness or pain, desperation or thrill, gladness or frustration. And all these do not matter. What matters, really, is what I do now. What I choose to do. What I am doing.
I am unique because of my passion. In a university where media studies is seen in the corporate light, I live my journalistic side. I write. I live in accord to my ideals. I am grounded on my virtues. I do what I can. I stand up for what I believe is right. Above all, my God is with me. Always.
I am unique because of my purpose: charity.
It takes a brave soul to strive for one’s dreams.
My dreams have altitude. High and far-fetched enough to keep me wanting to reach them.
My dreams have aptitude. Constantly improving and limitless so I may further develop my talents and abilities.
My dreams have attitude.Matigas ang ulo. Like me. Heh. ;)
I will succeed because I have a brave soul and I have a great God. #KerygmaFeast •
